Packer Response
So . . . Tami, Andrew, Ashlynn and Bob and Wanda (Tami's parents) and I are at Olive Garden tonight for what was the longest meal ever. The only saving grace was the people I was with (and the food was good). I mean seriously . . . TWO HOURS!
Anyway, so after Andrew and I challenge each other to eat our whole meals after about 10 bread sticks and 8 plates of salad . . . AND after Tami ordered not one but two desserts for the whole table to share . . . we waited on the check. And waited. And waited. What I'm trying to say here is the service was less than stellar.
So I'm sitting there and notice Andrew is shooting me the shocker in the subtle way that only he can. So, of course, I respond with an oh-so-subtle packer. If you don't know what a shocker or packer is, ask Megan.
Well, I look up and see this guy and girl walking past our table, right as I'm putting up the packer. The guy looks at me and waves. I about fell out. I don't know exactly why he waved. I've never seen him before in my life. I hope he wasn't letting me know he was down with the packer. Eww.

In other news, Megan and I went to Revolution at about 4:45 for a cup of naughty coffee for her (I just like saying that) and a cup of Chai Latte for me. It was cool. There were only two other people there, and they have free wireless. I think I am going to try to do that more often. It was a great way to end a dreary, cold Friday.
